ROW CONTROL technology was developed to allow tractor operators to control individual air planters from the tractor seat.  Prior to this technology, operators could only control larger sections of a planter.  With larger planters, it is more difficult to plant odd rows and point rows in the field.  Double-planting, unplanted field strips and large skips are expensive and inefficient.  These problems can be eliminated with ROW CONTROL!
The control box for the ROW CONTROL is easily mounted in the tractor cab.  When the operator cuts off individual planters, red indicator lights come on as a reminder.  Original planter control warning systems are not affected.

A motorized ball valve is mounted on each planter to interrupt airflow. When the operator cuts off and individual planter (any number of planters may be selected), the ball valve closes to restrict airflow so no seeds are picked up.
Point rows can now be completely planted.  There is no need for unplanted corners or over-planting.

Field rows frequently don’t match planter widths.  Double planting or skipping rows at the edge of a field is inefficient and unproductive. Example: While using an eight row planter, there are eleven rows left in the field.  Simply shut off five planters on the next to last pass and finish with a full eight rows.  Never double plant or drag planters over planted rows. ROW CONTROL allows an operator to plant the exact number of rows required to fully utilize any field.
